"One-day Kyoto garden VIP plan" day process

The shooting location will vary depending on the season and weather.
The following process is for reference only.

Yumeyakata will arrange a professional driver to greet you at your hotel/homestay. (Only hotels/homestays in Kyoto City)
Guests who live outside of Kyoto city or Kyoto prefecture will meet the driver at Kyoto Station.

After arriving at Yumeyakata Oike Bettei (near Karasuma Oike crossing), you will get the dressing, hairstyling and makeup services.

The photoshoot starts right there! Get your pictures taken in this remodeled Kyomachiya for about 30 minutes with the quaint interior decoration and the beautiful house garden that reflects all four seasons.

Move to the next shooting location (differs depending on the season) and enjoy a nice lunch.
※Lunch menu will change depending on the season.

After lunch, enjoy a 1.5-hour photoshoot in the peaceful and traditional landscape of a typical Japanese garden.

After you return to the Yumeyakata Oike Bettei, you change back into your clothes, and the professional driver will take you back to the hotel/homestay.
Guests who live outside of Kyoto City or Kyoto Prefecture will be sent back to Kyoto Station.

The photo album is designed by Yumeyakata professional designer. The inner pages are printed on glossy photo paper.

Costume

Please tell us your preferences for the kimono style and color, your height, etc.
We will recommend a suitable kimono for you on the shooting day.
Women can choose among wedding kimonos, furisode and houmongi.

When you make an appointment of Yumeyakata’s Location Photo Plan, a deposit of 110,000yen will be billed.
Please pay the rest on the visit day by cash or credit card.
※If the photo shoot is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or force of nature, we will return the deposit in cash on the visit day.
※In case we do not receive your payment or any contact before due, the location photo plan will be cancelled. Your appointment of kimono rental, on the other hand, will remain as booked. (If the appointment is confirmed at 9:00AM, an early morning charge at 1100yen/person will incur once the location photo plan is cancelled.)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fee will be charged as follow:
Cancel 2 days before the visit day: 20% of the price
Cancel 1 days before the visit day: 50% of the price
Cancel on the visit day: 100% of the price
[No show] If you do not cancel your reservation and do not show up, the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit cannot be refunded.
