Professor of Urasenke Tea School【Tea Name: 宗文 (Sōbun)】

Born in Osaka in 1964, Aya Suzuki moved to Kyoto as a teenager to study the Urasenke tea ceremony.
Fascinated by the deep spirituality and philosophy of tea, she has dedicated her life to sharing the art and beauty of Japanese tea with visitors from around the world.
In addition to tea ceremony, she is proficient in traditional Japanese calligraphy and flower arrangement.
Her hobbies include hot yoga and exploring Kyoto. Aya believes that "studying tea sharpens the mind and teaches the way of life," and practices diligently every day.

Cancellation Policy for Matcha Experience:
100% fee on the day of the experience, 50% fee if canceled the day before.

Guests may enter Yumeyakata Oike Bettei up to 15 minutes before the session starts.
