Not only can you enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Biwa, but you can also see Mount Mikami across the lake.
Since Ōtsu Port is nearby, you can watch the Biwako cruise ship Michigan and the floating school Uminoko come and go.The nearby blue building, the Biwako Hotel, is actually shaped like a ship.

In the same plaza, you’ll also find a “Pokéfuta” (Pokémon manhole cover). Another manhole cover featuring a collaboration between the mobile suit Z’Gok and the Lake Biwa Fireworks Festival is located within walking distance, near the Biwako Hall.
