Tofukuji Temple
Tofuku-ji Temple is a historic temple that was restored during the Muromachi period and flourished as the fourth-ranked Zen temple among the Five Great Zen Temples of Kyoto. It is renowned for its beautiful scenery throughout the seasons, including its famous gardens and the autumn foliage seen from Tsūtenkyō Bridge, attracting many visitors. The view that Lord Uesama, played by Kamenashi-san, gazed upon is believed to be that of Gaunkyō Bridge as seen from Tsūtenkyō.

11-minute walk from Gojo Store → Take the Keihan Main Line (Semi-Express bound for Yodoyabashi) from Kiyomizu-Gojo Station → Get off at Tofukuji Station and walk for 6 minutes.
Umenomiya Taisha Shrine
The oldest sake brewery deity in Japan. Renowned for blessings of conception and safe childbirth. The garden is beautifully adorned with seasonal flowers such as plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and irises. Capture wonderful photos in this charming traditional Japanese garden!
