Take City Bus No. 80 from Gojo-Takakura Bus Stop toward Gojo-zaka, Gion, and Shijo Kawaramachi → Get off at Gion and walk for 5 minutes.

This location has been used as a filming site for movies and TV dramas. It is said that the Ajari (a high-ranking monk) crosses this bridge after completing his training during the “Kyoto Grand Pilgrimage.” The rows of willow trees along the river and the stone bridge create a quintessential Kyoto atmosphere—perfect for taking beautiful photos!
