Otsu Lakeside Nagisa Park Festival Plaza

Ōtsu Lakeside Nagisa Park: Ōtsu Lakeside Nagisa Park stretches along the lakeshore from Hama-Ōtsu to the Ōmi Ohashi Bridge. Not only does it offer a panoramic view of Lake Biwa, but you can also see Mount Mikami on the opposite shore.
近Since Ōtsu Port is located nearby, you can watch cruise ships such as the Michigan and the floating school Uminoko depart and arrive. The blue building right next to the port, the Biwako Hotel, is actually shaped like a ship.

This is Gyarados, a Water-type Pokémon, inspired by Lake Biwa. It’s perfect for social media if you capture it together with the hem of your kimono! In the same plaza, there’s also a Gundam manhole cover, and near the Biwako Hall, you can find a manhole cover featuring the mobile suit Z’Gok.
