Autumn Foliage in Kyoto
The most popular season for visiting Kyoto can be autumn. Viewing the crimson foliage is truly a special treat for everybody.
The beauty of the foliage in Kyoto owes to its land-form and the climate. This year, despite the late arrival of the autumn, the colors are not dull but still nicely vivid.
Here in the picture below, the heavenly scenery of Eikando (永観堂) temple can be seen. The contrast of scarlet color and Tahodo (多宝堂) tower is wonderful!
Although being remote from the center of the city, Jingoji (神護寺) temple is also a very nice place for foliage viewing. It’s a very touching view of great nature and the temple.
This is the reason I love living in Kyoto so much.
